Improving the air quality

The use of fossil fuels in aircraft and vehicles impacts air quality in and around the airport. To secure our role as a responsible neighbour and employer, we monitor local air quality and collaborate closely with our partners to reduce air pollution from ground operations, including ground support equipment. 

Additionally, we continuously follow and support current research and emerging technologies, particularly initiatives aimed at lowering emissions from aircraft, as improved air quality is closely linked to and part of the decarbonisation process.
