SAS Announces the Return of Bangkok flights
SAS announced its return to the route between Copenhagen and Bangkok for the first time in more than 9 years. Bangkok, the vibrant and bustling capital city of Thailand, is a melting pot of culture, history, and modernity. Renowned for its intricate temples, vibrant street markets, and bustling nightlife, the city holds an irresistible allure for travelers from around the world. Along with the city of Bangkok there is also the possibility for travelers to enjoy the beach and sun in one of the many nearby coastal cities and resorts.
To be flown with A350-900
The route will commence on October 30th, 2023, and be flown 3 times a week with an Airbus A350-900 in a three-class configuration capable of carrying 300 passengers. Alongside the 3 weekly SAS flights, Star Alliance partner, Thai Airways, will continue its daily Boeing 777-300ER flights between Copenhagen and Bangkok.
A winter program with new long-haul routes and added frequencies for SAS
Bangkok isn't the only new returning long-haul route coming this winter from SAS. SAS has also announced the return of flights to Morroco, with once-weekly frequencies between Copenhagen and Agadir starting this winter. You can read more here. Additionally, SAS has also announced more frequencies on the route to Miami, which will go from 3 to 5 weekly flights this winter program. You can read more about the added frequencies to Miami here. We are happy to see SAS expanding its long-haul presence out of CPH in this winter program.
