The journey starts at the airport
Even though the waiting time at the airport can be challenging for many excited children, we have ensured entertainment for both big and small passengers.
Here on this page, you will find fun experiences, practical travel tips, and inspiration for child-friendly shops and eateries at Copenhagen Airport.
More practical travel tips:
Pack a light carry-on: We recommend packing a manageable carry-on as there are already many things to keep track of in an airport. This way, there are also fewer chances of losing items in a hurry, and you can spend more time on the fun stuff.
Parking tip: If you have booked parking, we suggest dropping off the family at the Kiss & Fly area in front of Terminal 2 and letting only one family member drive the car to the parking area. This way, you avoid occupying too much space in the terminal buses, and the children can, for example, spend time at the outdoor playground instead.

Borrow a free stroller: Make the airport experience easier and borrow a free stroller right after the security check and all the way to the aircraft.
Coloring books: Coloring books, children's books, and other fun magazines can be purchased at 7-Eleven and WHSmith. A great activity for the children, perfect to have on board the plane.
Children's lounge for SAS customers: Remember that SAS travelers with Business or Plus class have access to SAS' children's lounge with toys and children's television. This can also be purchased for non-members.
