Smoking in the airport

The goal for Copenhagen Airport is to minimise the genes for non smokers as much as possible. 

At the same time we wish to offer smoking facilities after the security. We expect therefore also to reduce the need to smoke outside the terminals before check in.

Smoking before security 

Before seciruty it is only possible to smoke outside at the yellow smoking zones between the entrances to Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.

Smoking after security

Our outdoor smoking area located in connection to Gates A or in the beginning of Gates C on the balcony (after passport control).

E-cigarettes

At Copenhagen Airport the rules for regular cigarettes also applies for electric cigarettes.

It can be hard for both other travellers and for the airport staff to distinguish between regular and electronic cigarettes and we have chosen this solution to avoid unfortunate situations where passengers using electronic cigarettes wrongly are accused of violating the airport smoking politics. 

Note: The airport staff descides whether or not it is allowed to smoke within their area. Eg. in lounges, in the meeting facilities of Clarion, in the car rental areas and at the travel agencies etc.
