Shopping for departures and arrivals

Whether you are departing from the airport, transferring, or have landed at Copenhagen Airport, it is always possible to get something to eat and drink.

You have access to most of the airport's shops and restaurants, regardless of your destination. However, there are special rules upon arrival:

Arrival from an EU country: If you arrive from an EU country, you can generally visit the airport's shops and restaurants before going down to baggage claim.

Arrival from a non-EU country: If you arrive from a non-EU country, you will be subject to immigration control and led directly to baggage claim without access to the shops. This applies even if you have a Danish passport.

Food and drink at arrival

Regardless of which destination you arrive from, it is always possible to get something to eat and drink at the airport.

There are options to buy food and beverages in the baggage claim area and at all restaurants in Terminal 2 & 3, when you come out to the arrivals hall.

Online shopping with TAX FREE

Click & Collect: In addition to shopping at the physical TAX FREE stores for departures and arrivals, you can also shop online through TAX FREE Click & Collect up to 14 days before your trip.

Home Delivery: With TAX FREE Home Delivery, you can order your items online and have everything delivered to your Danish address up to 6 months before your trip.

Can I exchange an item at the airport?

The rules for exchanges, refunds, and complaints vary from store to store at the airport, and it is always the store's rules that apply.

Note: Some stores are part of a chain and therefore collaborate with stores in the same chain, even if they are located outside the airport. Always ask the specific store at the airport if it is possible to exchange a given item outside the airport.

Questions

If you have questions about exchange guarantees and complaints, you can contact a store directly via their phone number or email, which you will find on each individual store or restaurant.

Alternatively, you can also contact Customer Service, who will try to assist you as best as possible.
