Minimising the noise nuisance

Copenhagen Airports' environmental permit sets out a number of requirements governing noise from our activities. However, we are committed to working beyond regulatory demands, as we want to operate the airport responsibly and with consideration for both our local environment and local community, through our efforts to minimise noise pollution from airport activities where possible

We work relentlessly to mitigate the noise nuisance through our own initiatives as well as by aiding and following the development of new technologies. We have set ambitious targets towards 2050 and our collaboration with airlines is an essential measure in achieving them, as the airlines' investment in newer and more effective aircraft is a significant contributor to noise reduction.
